I can honestly say today's gin is the first on the list that feels like one of my gins.
Hailing from Margaret River, the Giniversity Botanical Gin is a triumph of Australian Natives being bought to life for our enjoyment. I have savoured this many times, and love the unique cut through of the lemon myrtle in particular. Like the very popular Gin 2, this has a cooling mint finish.
Of note today, in true advent terms day 12 represents half way along your journey to Christmas. In Ginvent terms you are not quite there, with our bonus two days, because it is not just about the journey it is also about arriving and sitting back with two extra days of Gin.
So celebrate being half way with the kids and their crappy little advent chocolates, smugly knowing you will enjoy your treat more, and you will also have them for longer.
Enjoy with the light tonic with a garnish of rosemary and strawberry.
